A chemical solution called a concrete densifier is applied to concrete surfaces in the construction industry to enhance their resilience, strength, and general functionality. It makes them harder, more durable, and more resistant to surface damage and moisture penetration.

Stepheson notes that lithium densifiers are popular for polishing concrete because they work quickly and efficiently to achieve the desired outcome. He also recommends that you consider the type of stain you will use — film-forming stains or acid stains – before you decide whether to apply the densifier before or after staining.
